Do you know how to do a headstand or a handstand? No? Then you may find it necessary to join Ramdev Babas yoga classes before any anticipated travel with the Indian Railway Services.
Are you wondering why?
Then look no further than this image. Can you read it standing on your feet? The notice in question is about a children’s helpline service. It is for the attention of all travelers advising on what to do should they encounter a lone child who may appear in distress or in need of immediate assistance.
Are you slightly amused and sadly disappointed? Or Are you laughing out loud or getting angry? But please, allow me to explain. Perhaps you have misunderstood the actual purpose of the Indian Railway Services.
They are well aware of the fact of the growing speed of the nation’s population, faster than the rate of inflation. They have made it quite clear that it is of no importance to them if a few children go missing in a population of thousands of millions.
Actually, the Indian Railway Service are really keen for you to take up yoga so that you may learn to curb your temper when you travel in their trains. You will need to remain calm and collected when you have to endure the poor traveling conditions. They are actually very considerate.
So, on behalf of every Indian, I would like to sincerely thank the Indian Railway Service and the Government for protecting and providing its citizens with the very best of national services.
I am feeling truly blessed.
Such care, compassion, and consideration bring tears to my eyes. Please, do excuse me.
P.S. And last but not in the least, I must make a mention about the all-important passengers! What are their responsibilities, if any at all?
Upon visiting the bathroom they always forget to flush or perhaps don’t know how to. They never clean the washbasin after use and throw trash under their seats treating it as a waste -bin. Freely graffiti the toilet walls thinking themselves as Shakespeare or some Picasso. They disturb fellow passengers with their loud noise showing no due consideration for someone who may be trying to catch up on some sleep.
If all these things are the responsibility of each passenger then they too are doing a marvelous job in contributing towards ease of decent rail travel across India.
So in fact, both travelers, as well as the Railway service, are accountable for the excellent traveling standards in this great nation. It’s all very good indeed!
